Watched movie #165 Alita: Battle Angel.  In the future, a cyborg is abandoned, and then found by a doctor who brings her back to life, and she has no memory of her past and is learning to get along in this new world and discover her mysterious past.  I liked this movie, the CGI is excellent.  The Alita character is CGI, and interacts well with the live actors, and she seems real, and does not look like a CGI character, except for her unusual look.  The action battle scenes are also well done, and even though they are violent at times, it still not as graphic ( or bloody)  and appears to be kind of for a family type audience.  There were some scenes where they play a game called Battle Ball on rollerskates, that reminded me a lot of the movie Rollerball.  The movie started out a little slow, and showed some clips of some cool battle scenes, like on the moon, and introduced some characters, but did not really interact with them too much,  which seemed like they were hinting that they will be in the sequel, so it seems strange that they didn’t show more in this movie.  So if you like sci fi and action movies,  or cool CGI, then I would check this one out, or at least stream it.
