Watched movie #99 The gospel according to Andre. A documentary on the life and career of fashion journalists Andre Leon Talley, and how he grew up in the south to become the editor of Vogue magazine. Ok, i did not know who he was, but i did recognize him from tv. The movie talked about how he grew up in the south and going to church with his grandmother was like going to a fashion show each week. This started his love for fashion and after college he started writing for a fashion magazine. I thought the pace of the movie was slow, and i kept nodding off. If i was interested in fashion, then i may have found it more interesting. If you are into fashion and know who Andre is, then you may enjoy this movie, otherwise i would pass.
