Watched movie #94 Hearts Beat Loud. A single father who owns a record store in Red Hook Brooklyn, wants to re-live his youth and start a band with his daughter who is about to go to Med school at UCLA. I thought the movie was ok, the acting was ok, but the story seemed a little week. They had some plot lines that did not go anywhere. I think the best part of the movie was the music and songs the main characters sing, and I liked the acoustic version of the main title song played during the credits. If you like independent films you may want to see it, or you could just stream it.
