Watched movie #71 Always at the Carlyle. A documentary about the famous Carlyle hotel in NY, where stars, royalty, and athletes have been staying for years, known for their customer service and discretion. This documentary included interviews with celebrities who have stayed there and the staff, whom some have worked there over 40 years. This movie was interesting as they talked about the hotel, restaurant, bar, and cafe. The hotel has an interesting history and cool art deco style, and original artwork drawn on the walls. After seeing this movie i want to stay there, but rooms go from 735 to 23,500 a night, so it probably won’t happen, but i could visit the restaurant, bar and cafe. If you like documentaries about old hotels then you may want to check it out or you could just stream it.
