Watched movie # 53 Bombshell: The Hedy Lamarr Story. A great documentary on actress Hedy Lamarr, known as the most beautiful Woman in the word in the 40s, who was also an inventor who created a process called frequency jumping that allows a radio signal to move frequencies so it could not be jammed. She was given a patent on it and gave it to the Navy for controlling torpedoes during WWII. The technology was not initially used and when they did use it they did not pay her for the patent. This technology is now used in Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, cell phones, and military use. This was a very well done documentary with interviews from her family, reporters, and other people. If you are interested in learning some history on technology that connects all of us, I would go see this or at least stream it.
