Watched movie # 3 Winchester at the Long Beach Town Center Edwards. Inspired by true events. On an isolated stretch of land 50 miles outside of San Francisco sits the most haunted house in the world. Built by Sarah Winchester, heiress to the Winchester fortune. With construction going on twenty-four hour a day, seven day a week , the house contains hundreds of rooms, that Sarah believes she needs to build for all the people who have been killed by the guns from her company. The board of directors from the Winchester Rifle company has sent a doctor to verify is she is sane or if she should be removed from the company. As the doctor visits, he learns there may be more to his visit that he thought. This movie was OK, it was interesting to learn more about the house, as I also visited it once when I was a kid. The story has a few jump scares, which most were predictable, and the story line was a little week, but I did jump at a couple places, and overall had a fun time. I think the movie was trying to say something about gun control, but it didn’t seem to get this point across. Was it the best movie, no, but if you just enjoy it for what it was, you might be surprised and have a fun time. If you like scary movies, you may like this one.
