Watched movie #148, Papillon. The true story of Papillon, a thief from Paris, who was framed for murder and condemned to life in prison at Devil’s island, but eventually escapes. This is a remake of the 1973 movie. I don’t remember the original, so i can’t compare the two, but it was an interesting story. I felt it was well acted by the two main characters, but it was a little long. I feel the film stands on its own, but was not as good as the original. I would recommend this movie, or at least the original movie.
