Watched movie 147, Crazy Rich Asians. Rachel Chu travels to Singapore with her boyfriend Nick, for his best friend’s wedding, and Rachel soon finds out that Nick comes from the wealthiest family in Singapore and now must face his family. This movie was very funny, and a cutie love story. Awkwafina, who plays Rachel’s friend from college, steals the show with her comedy and has another outstanding performance like she did in Oceans 8. The excessive wealth is a little over the top, but goes with the title of crazy rich, and everyone seems like they were from an episode of Next Top Model. Even though we have seen this story before, it still plays well and it makes Singapore look amazing. If you like romantic comedies, then you will probably love this movie.
