Watched movie #146, Mile 22. CIA agents must escort a foreign intelligence agent, who is willing to share some secret information for asylum, from the US embassy to the airport which is 22 miles away, while the agents government is trying to stop them. Was this a great movie, no, but was the action good, yes. The story is the basic story that we have seen in several other movies, and the characters are bland, where they all have some quirky thing about them, but there is a twist at the end. Most of the fight scenes are intense and brutal, and once the action starts it is almost non-stop till the end. Also the female characters are just as strong and brutal as the male characters, with some great fight scenes. If you like government action movies with a lot of fight scenes, then you will probably like this movie, but don’t expect a lot from the script. If that’s not your type of movie, then i would pass.
