Watched movie #141 Christopher Robin. Christopher Robin is all grown up with a family, and receives a surprise visit from Pooh, when Pooh can’t find his friends Tigger, Eeyore, Owl, Piglet, Rabbit, Kanga and Roo. Once Christopher helps Pooh find his friends, they also help Christopher to rediscover the joys of life. I liked this movie, it was a fun, cute story. I originally wasn’t expecting much of this movie but i was pleasantly surprised. It started off slow, showing how Christopher grew up, but once Pooh appeared it seemed to take off. The way they made the characters seem real was amazing and their houses seemed like something from toontown at Disneyland. I also liked the moral of the story, that family and friends are important and we also need to take the time to enjoy them. Also during the credits, one of the original song writers from Mary Poppins and Winnie the Pooh, Richard Sherman of the Sherman Brothers, sings a new pooh song. If you like Winnie the Pooh, or a good family film, then check this one out.
