Watched movie #131 Don’t Worry, He Won’t Get Far on Foot. The true story of cartoonist John Callahan who was paralyzed in a drunken car accident and through encouragement from his girlfriend and AA sponsor, he is finally able to follow his AA treatment plan and discovers he has a knack for creating irreverent newspaper cartoons. This movie was just ok, Joaquin Phoenix, Rooney Mara, and Jonah Hill’s acting was good, but the film was boring. It seemed longer than it should have been with extra non-relevant scenes that seemed to slow the film down. If you are a big Joaquin Phoenix fan, you may like this, otherwise i would wait to stream it.
