Watched movie #100 The Catcher was a Spy. Jewish major league baseball player Moe Berg, becomes a spy during WWII, based on a true story. This movie was ok, but it was a little dull for a spy movie. It didn’t really have very much intrigue or tension. During one scene where they are trying to get to a scientist before the Germans do, the battle scene was very lackluster, and didn’t seem very dramatic. The cast was well known, Paul Rudd as the main character, Sienna Miller as his girlfriend, Guy Pearce, Mark Strong, Jeff Daniels, and Paul Giamatti just to name a few. For this cast i would have expected more of a drama, but instead it just moved along. If your curious about the story and ok with it not being very action filled, then check it out or wait to stream it.
