Watched movie #143 The Karate Kid from 1984. When Daniel moves to Southern California with his Mom, he finds himself the target of a group of bullies who practice karate. He befriends the maintenance worker at his apartment Mr. Miyagi, who helps Daniel learn that karate is for defense not attacking. It was fun to see this again on the big screen as i originally saw it in 84. It was also fun and brought back memories as it was filmed at the Golf and Stuff that i use to hang out at in the 80s. It also has a good lesson about having balance in our lives. If you get a chance to see it on the big screen, then i would check it out.
